Using these sorts of resources that I was provided with, helped me understand NCWiseowl and Gale a bit more. Bringing these websites to light, I learned how to use information with a good true source. Provided useful non copyrighted pictures, and combining non fiction and fiction books together although that part was a bit hard. Using books I have read and books I havent, we chose our own collection topics and connected it together. These skills can be used for a job later in life, if I wanted to become a journalist/author, or maybe even a librarian. Skills like these could eventually provide information towards my kids later in the future with homework or classes. Speaking of classes, at other schools they take elective classes like computer typing class (Microsoft based).
I learned and developed new skills towards involving technology and books together, before this project; I didn't know how to screen record on your laptop (I always saw it on YouTube videos). I comprehended new things like intellectual property, when and how to use others products online, being able to do citations. Being to understand fully about the rights covered, and which intellectual property could/should be used for school purposes. Advancing my skill set will most likely help me in college with whenever I have assignments to do or whenever I need to apply to new job positions.
